Tod Babick
Tod is guided by the belief that our sense of beauty is shaped more by an innate connection to the natural environment than by culture or experience alone.
Tod Babick was born in 1961 in Barre, Vermont. He studied music performance and computer programming and made bespoke furniture for the trade before earning a degree in industrial design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He worked with studios and start-ups in Rhode Island and Michigan before opening his own practice. Studio Babick’s ongoing pursuit of beautiful objects is guided by the belief that our sense of beauty is shaped more by an innate connection to the natural environment than by culture or experience alone.
